For over a decade, Himes has provided project management/owner’s representative services for corporate campus workspace renovation and restack projects, open plan renovation programs, cafe renovations, MEP & technical projects (data closet upgrades, cooling and heating plant upgrades, major plant upgrades supporting lab operations) and sustainability and wellness focused projects (zero waste stations, solar and EV chargers, outdoor sports facility) for AstraZeneca (formerly Medimmune).

Additionally, these Life Science-focused projects have ranged from R&D and Manufacturing lab projects to corporate interiors, site development, sustainability and MEP infrastructure projects.  Some recent projects we have served on include:  Renovations to Histology, Small Scale Suite, Gaithersburg Pilot Facility and Proteomics Labs, corporate interior upgrades across Gaithersburg campus converting over 200K SF from traditional workstation/private office to “open plan” environment, Outdoor Sports Complex, technical projects including major chiller, boiler and AHU/RTU replacements, replacement/upgrades to equipment and utilities supporting Labs operations and IT/AV infrastructure upgrades.
