In April of 2007, Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. (CHS) retained Himes Associates, Ltd. for project management/construction management services for their 46,000 square foot new tenant interiors project, in Reston, VA. The new CHS facility incorporates open plan and enclosed office space as well as a 24/7 call center, training rooms, central filing systems, teaming areas and a workout facility.
Himes conducted the procurement for the project’s architect, MEP Engineer, and General Contractor. The project entailed close coordination with the client’s relocation and furniture procurement team as well as acting as CHS’ representative with the building ownership representatives and property management from pre-construction thru move in.
Himes serves as CHS’ representative for this project and providing comprehensive management of planning, design and construction phases for CHS’ new office space and relocation. During construction Himes serves as the tenant/owner representative to the general contractor. Throughout the process Himes established and managed the overall project schedule and budget to meet CHS’ move-in requirements.
