Ashburn Campus Data Center Buildings: Digital Realty’s Ashburn Campus Data Center Buildings are located on 98 acres of land in the Dulles technology corridor of Northern Virginia. Himes provided Mission Critical project management services for multiple facilities for this Campus. Himes’ unique ability to effectively manage different clients, end-users, and scopes allowed the projects to complete with efficiency on schedule and on or under budget. The repeat business with Digital Realty displays how Himes is able to adapt to a corporate culture.
Himes has been providing Mission Critical project management services for clients at Digital Realty Trust’s 125,000 SF Digital Park located in Dallas, Texas. The interior space build-outs have utilized Digital’s proprietary “Turn-Key Datacenter” design. Each TKD is a physically separate entity that features a 2N architecture and operates as a “building within a building” to ensure security for the client.
Digital Realty’s Franklin Park Campus Data Center Buildings are located on a 22-acre corporate campus in the Chicago, IL suburb of Franklin Park, Illinois. The campus consists of three buildings (569,994 SF total) which Digital Realty has been converting into a data storage center. Himes has supported the project through its numerous phases by providing Owner’s Representation services during project design and construction.
Himes provided Mission Critical project management services for 30,000 SF of interior data center white space. The space is housed in a new, Morgan Stanley-owned 370,000 square foot base building located in Somerset, New Jersey. The scope of work included a new central fuel oil storage and distribution system as well as the commissioning of the associated yard, generators and chillers.
