Himes developed documents and procedures for contractor procurements which included solicitation of bids and ‘sharpening’ methods to ensure bids were comprehensive and market competitive. This process was implemented for over 30 new projects and resulted in savings of over $11 million compared to traditional procurement methods. Himes also worked directly with IWG to conduct due diligence reports and onsite evaluations at identified project locations to help determined the feasibility of a potential project.
Himes supported the IWG Enterprise Client group with review of leases and work letters, review of construction schedules and budgets, and coordination of construction activities with IWG’s client and landlords. Himes was responsible for acting on behalf of IWG ensuring their clients’ needs were met to expected levels of satisfaction.
Himes supported multiple IWG renovation projects and the primary construction manager. Himes was also tasked to support multiple day 2 activities post move-in to ensure the customer expectations were met and locations were operational as planned.
