Project Scope

Himes Associates, Ltd. provided Verisign with project management services for the renovation of a 220,000 SF purchased facility in Reston, VA. The project included managing the design, construction, retrofitting, and restacking of the facility, which would serve as Verisign’s Corporate Headquarters.

Himes responsibilities included conducting a structured procurement for general contractor and their subcontractors. Once selected, Himes provided comprehensive construction administration including: vigorous schedule monitoring, issuance of Verisign directives and clarifications, review and respond to all correspondences issued by the landlord, general contractor, and design consultants, participate in all weekly construction progress meetings, prepare and issue meeting minutes, regular review of construction progress.
