Project Scope

Himes Associates, Ltd. has provided ongoing support for Welltower’s active development and construction portfolio. Himes regularly visited a portfolio of projects nationwide including, but not limited to Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Florida, Texas, and Missouri. Himes created a customized project and portfolio tracking system, project reports, and control measures used to track overall health of project budgets, project schedules, quality, and document completed work.

Himes has experience with projects in a variety of occupancy classifications including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and post-acute care communities. Projects supported vary in size from smaller capex renovations and additions at existing facilities to very large ground up construction of new senior living communities totaling hundreds of thousands of square feet.

Additionally, Himes has provided project oversight, strategic consulting, and project management services for specialty projects and acquisitions on as-needed basis.

Bella Terra, Jackson, NJ Restoration Project

Managed the restoration of 15,000 SF of building damaged by fire, smoke, and water. Managed the water mitigation, hazmat remediation & interior construction of the facility. Coordinated the replacement of 2000+ sprinkler heads throughout the entire facility. Areas of impact were resident units, common areas, and stairwells
