Project Scope

Himes Associates, Ltd. acted as the development manager for T. Rowe Price’s 14 acre site in Washington County, Maryland for a remote support center. The new construction included a 60,000 square foot building (Phase I). The site and building were designed to accommodate a future expansion and construction.

The project team included Cemtury Engineering for civil engineering, KTA for engineering, and The M Group providing architectural services.  Construction services were provided by Whiting Turner Construction.

Areas of risk included utility delivery to the site, long lead items, weather delays and unforeseen site conditions. The Owner’s Representative will be expected to take ownership of delivering the project on time and within budget all while assisting the Network Operations Team with expertise in translating design and construction issues.

T. Rowe Price achieved LEED Gold New Construction Certification for this building.
